Amathyst Terms of Service

Welcome to Amathyst. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our platform (“Platform”), including our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, “Services”). By accessing or using Amathyst, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Platform Overview

Amathyst is a digital platform that facilitates paid social experiences between clients (“Users”) and independent service providers (“Creators”) who offer time-based personal engagements such as attending events, participating in hobbies, or enjoying shared experiences. Amathyst does not provide, promote, or facilitate any romantic, adult, or escorting services. The Platform functions as a technology intermediary to facilitate scheduling, messaging, and payments between consenting parties.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding contract under your local laws. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. User Conduct

You agree to use the Platform solely for lawful, respectful, and non-exploitative purposes. You must not:

  • Request or offer any activity that violates the Platform’s policies, including but not limited to sexual services, romantic arrangements, or companionship involving physical intimacy;
  • Use the Platform to solicit, promote, or engage in illegal activity;
  • Harass, stalk, abuse, or threaten any Creator or User;
  • Attempt to circumvent the Platform to avoid fees or facilitate off-platform transactions;
  • Impersonate others, misrepresent your identity, or submit false reviews.
     

Amathyst reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account found in breach of these rules.

 

4. Creators

Creators are independent contractors. They are not employees, agents, or representatives of Amathyst. They set their own availability, define their services, and determine their compensation. Creators are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, tax obligations, and conduct standards.Amathyst does not guarantee the availability, safety, or conduct of any Creator. All interactions are at your own discretion and risk.

5. Bookings and Payments

Users may request bookings with Creators via the Platform. Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. Amathyst does not hold or disburse funds directly.

  • All bookings are subject to the Creator’s availability and approval.
  • Users must not offer tips, bonuses, or off-platform compensation.
  • Cancellations and refunds are governed by our [Refund Policy].

6. Reviews and Ratings

Users may submit reviews based on verified interactions. Reviews must be honest, respectful, and relevant. Amathyst reserves the right to moderate or remove content that violates community standards or legal obligations.

7. Prohibited Content and Activities

You may not use the Platform to:

  • Promote escorting, sexual, or adult services;
  • Arrange or imply romantic relationships in exchange for compensation;
  • Upload or share sexually explicit content or innuendos;
  • Attempt to solicit off-platform meetups for unapproved purposes.
     

Violation of this policy will result in immediate removal and possible legal reporting.

8. Disclaimers

Amathyst provides a technology platform only and does not participate in, supervise, or guarantee any interactions between Users and Creators. We do not vet personal chemistry, compatibility, or emotional outcomes. The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amathyst disclaims all liability for:

  • Personal injury, emotional harm, or financial loss arising from use of the Platform;
  • The conduct of any User or Creator;
  • Delays, cancellations, or unsatisfactory experiences.
     

In no case shall Amathyst’s liability exceed the amount paid by you in the past 12 months for Services.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our sole discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including logos, designs, software, and trademarks, is the exclusive property of Amathyst. Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

12. Privacy

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of London.
